We received word today that we are officially Simeon's parents! Taiwan Xi En got the final decree in the mail from the Taiwanese Courts! Praise the Lord!!! They submitted the paperwork to AIT (who will issue Simeon's visa to immigrate to the USA) and we will hear from them soon about our appointment (which will determine when we travel).
We are also waiting to find out if we will be able to travel as soon as possible or if we will need to get fingerprinted again for Simeon's immigration application.
Please pray. Please pray that God will work something out so we can travel as soon as possible. Please pray that we will have peace in the meantime.

Congratulations and praise God! I have been following your blog and your timeline as to what is happening when. We are in Australia so our adoption procedure is a bit different, however we have been allocated a child from Taiwan and the Taiwanese court investigation is hopefully underway now. We now wait for a court date where we will need to travel the first time to appear (the orphanage is guessing about April), and then 6-8 weeks later we travel again to take our child home assuming the judge rules accordingly.
